Indonesia is the sleeping giant of Southeast Asia. With 18,000 islands, 6,000 of them inhabited, it is the largest archipelago in the world. Venturing through the islands of Indonesia you’ll see a land as diverse and unusual as those living upon it you’ll see why Indonesia markets itself as “Wonderful Indonesia”. This sultry kaleidoscope that runs along the equator for 5000km could well be the last great adventure on Earth.
There are several islands that are well known and renowned these are Sumatra, Lombok, Flores, Java, Kalimantan which was formerly Borneo, Sulawesi which was formerly known as Celebes, the Maluku Islands which were the original spice islands and Papua. Then, there is Bali “the world’s best island resort” with its charming culture, pristine beaches, captivating dances and music. However Indonesia still has so many unchartered islands with stunning mountain views, lush rainforests to trek through, and incredible perfect waves to surf and deep crystal clear waters to dive in where one can swim with dolphins and mantarays.
Because of her geographic location Indonesia is spoiled with some of the most diverse landscapes, from it’s fruitful ricelands in Java and Bali to the lush green rainforests of Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and, to the meadow pastures of the Nusatenggara islands to snow-capped mountains of West Papua. The wildlife is so diverse from the prehistoric giant Komodo dragon to the Orangutan and rhino, to the Sulawesi mini buffalo’s, to exquisite birds. This area also boasts the Rafflesia the world’s largest flower, wild orchids, an incredible variety of spices and fruit trees.
Surfing and scuba diving aside, Indonesia offers excellent outdoor activities to enjoy, from trekking to the peaks of smouldering volcanoes on remote islands and hikes through lush rainforests or terraced rice paddies

Highlights of the trip
We’ll island hop through this archipelago starting in Java as you’ll make your way from big city to Borobudur which makes the rest of Southeast Asia’s spectacular sites seem almost incidental. Looming out of a patchwork of bottle-green paddies and swaying palm tops, this colossal Buddhist relic is one of Southeast Asia’s marvels.
Be spoiled by staggering sunrise views atop Mt Bromo. Kick back on the coast of Bali and learn how to surf. Get your adventure on hiking, biking, and rafting in the beautiful picturesque interior. Uncover a leafy paradise in Ubud and watch a traditional balinese show. Then snorkel, dive and chill in the beautiful calming beaches of the Gili Islands. All while soaking up culture and excitement along the way.
There’s plenty more to taste here than just stellar coffee. You’re about to jump on board one of the wildest culinary trips of your life! Frying, simmering, sizzling, kneading and flipping a deliciously diverse variety of regional dishes.
Itinerary
DAY 01 : JAKARTA ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR
Upon arrival you’ll be picked up by our guide then will drive to the bustling city to see Sunda Kelapa Old Harbor and Fatahillah Square. Dinner at a local restaurant & transfer to the hotel near the airport. Overnight in Jakarta.
DAY 02 : JAKARTA DEPARTURE – YOGJAKARTA – BOROBUDUR TOUR
Check out & transfer to airport by hotel staff for morning flight to Jogyakarta. Upon arrival at Yogyakarta airport, meet the guide then visit Borobudur temple to admire the beautiful panorama of ‘thousand hills’. Then, you will be guided in learning the Buddha philosophy by exploring the relief on Borobudur temple. And also visit Mendut Temple. Lunch at a local
restaurant, then transfer to your hotel for overnight in Yogyakarta.
DAY 03 : PRAMBANAN – BROMO
Morning at 07.00 AM, drive to visit Prambanan Temple, proceed for an 11 hour drive to Bromo. Arrive in Bromo in the evening, then transfer to your hotel. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bromo.
DAY 04 : BROMO – SURABAYA – BALI
Morning call at 03:30AM, then by jeep start your journey at 04.00 AM to enjoy the beauty of nature and the splendid sunrise at Mt. Penanjakan (2,750m) by a 4WD. Then proceed to Mt. Bromo crater through the shimmering sea of sand (horseback riding included). At this famous view-point located on rim of the Tengger caldera we watch the sunrise breaking over the volcano cones, including Mt. Bromo and an active Mt. Semeru in the background. The views are breathtaking. We continue across the sand sea to the active Mt. Bromo volcano and climb the 245 steps to visit the crater rim (2,500m). The 4WD will bring us back to the lodge for breakfast. At appropriate time drive to the airport of Surabaya for Bali departure.
Upon arrival in Bali, you will be met by our staff and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day will be to relax around your hotel or walk around Bali to feel the atmosphere, or blend in with the locals. Overnight in Ubud.
DAY 05 : CYCLING & RAFTING
Get picked up in the morning for an unforgettable CYCLING AND RAFTING.

DAY 06 : FREE DAY – UBUD
Rest and relax or Volunteer
EVENING : MT AGUNG TREKKING ( 3.142 meters above sea level, 7 hours) :
11.30 – 12.00 pm : pick up at your hotel and drive directly to the Pasar Agung Temple starting point.
DAY 07 : MT AGUNG TREKKING ( 3.142 meters above sea level, 7 hours):
01:45 am : Arrival at Pasar Agung Temple starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by our experience professional climbing/trekking guide
01:45 am : Begin our climb / trek to the summit and sunrise point.
06:00 am : Arrival at the summit, where we witness the spectacular view and sunrise. While there we enjoy beverage refreshments.
07:30 am : Begin our descent to finishing point of our trek.
11:00 am : Arrival at starting point and boarding car.
01:00 pm : Return arrival at your hotel.
Rest of the day for your own leisure and overnight in Ubud.
Day 08 : UBUD – SERANGAN HARBOUR – GILI TRAWANGAN
Sail to Gili Trawangan at 09:00 AM by boat for about 1,5 hours. Upon arrival in Gili Trawangan, the staff from Gili Getaway Boat will assist you with transfer by Cidomo (horse cart) to your hotel in Gili Trawangan.
Day 09 : FREE DAY – GILI TRAWANGAN
Enjoy your free day at Gili Trawangan sunbathing or tour around the island to enjoy the atmosphere or blend in with locals.
Day 10 : GILI TRAWANGAN – SNORKELING
08:00 08:30AM Proceed to Villa Ombak Dive Center, next to Villa Ombak and join the snorkeling trip. Depending on your preference, you can go in the morning and/or afternoon.
Day 11 : GILI TRAWANGAN – SERANGAN – KUTA
Departure from Gili Trawangan to Serangan Harbour Bali. Our staff will meet you at Serangan harbour and transfer you to your hotel in Kuta.
Day 12 : BALI – JAKARTA
Take a morning surf lesson then the afternoon is yours for a little leisure or shopping before catching our flight to Jakarta.
Day 13 : JAKARTA – FLIGHT HOME
At appropriate time, transfer by hotel staff to Jakarta airport for flight home. – END OF SERVICES
