Itinerary
Monteverde for 3 nights Day 1-3.
Cool, misty cloudforest and deep green foliage is what has made Monteverde an absolute hot spot for eco tourism in the Central Highlands of Costa Rica. This zone is home to a string of volcanoes, both active and dormant, beautiful national parks and diverse weather.
Lodging in Monteverde for 3 nights
Hotel Poco a Poco is perched up in the Tilaran Mountain Range in Monteverde. Monteverde stands for ‘green mountain’ and that’s exactly what you’ll find here: verdant hillsides, rich green vegetation and an abundance of varied flora in a completely breathtaking setting. Nature buffs, scientists and avid bird watchers flock to this mountain paradise to seek out the famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and for the opportunity to see the elusive Quetzal.
Day 2- 08:30AM to 10:30AM.
Selvatura is an outstanding canopy tour, has the longest cables in Costa Rica and is the only one truly immersed in virgin forest. Proyecto Asis Half Day Tour with Volunteering
Day 6- 08:30AM to 12:00PM.
Take a tour and volunteer at Proyecto Asis wildlife rescue center just 30 minutes from La Fortuna in the northern lowlands region of Costa Rica.
Tortuguero for 3 nights 3 Day 7-9.
The Caribbean Coast is home to the beautiful town of Tortuguero and its National Park. This sun drenched zone with its sparsely spaced coastal villages offers a completely laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The culture is vastly different on this coast compared to the rest of the country with its prominent Afro-Caribbean influence notable as well in the delicious cuisine found here.
Pachira Lodge Lodging in Tortuguero for 3 nights
The Pachira Lodge is located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica near the National Park of Tortuguero. The lodge is surrounded by a network of very scenic canals and is considered one of the most exotic regions of the world, characterized by its rich flora and fauna. Cahuita for 3 nights Day 10-12.
Cahuita is a laid back and vibrant little village in the setting of Costa Rica’s unique Creole culture, brought about by its Afro-Caribbean heritage. Only 27 miles (43 km) south of Puerto Limón, Cahuita is an easy drive down Highway 36 along the Caribbean coast, despite a few potholes here and there. It is assuredly a must-see destination for visitors already in the Limón Province. This village is a hit amongst the young and free-spirited, or those simply seeking the easy life for a few days.

Atlantida Lodge is located on the laid back Caribbean coast, in the town of Cahuita. Cahuita is a small village with a beautiful beach that is calm and ideal for swimming.
