For many, an ideal vacation means lazy days on a beach or skiing on fresh powder. For some, volunteering to better the lives and communities of others makes for a satisfying vacation. Many people don’t know that they can combine giving with traveling and maybe a little relaxation as well. A volunteer vacation is a way to get away from the daily grind, while satisfying those philanthropic urges.

Volunteering overseas (voluntourism) has grown in popularity over the last few years as a way for travelers to engage with and immerse themselves in the countries they are visiting. Voluntourism activities can range from assisting with healthcare in rural communities to conservation efforts, helping with communities to build schools, buildings or even help teach children English in the area. Each of our trips will have some sort of volunteer  opportunities that will be optional for all members of the group.
